Untuk mengikuti perkembangan pembangunan infrstruktur di Indonesia (terutama waduk), Program Studi Magister Teknik Sipil mengadakan kuliah umum dengan tema "Peran Manajemen Konstruksi dalam Metode Pelaksanaan Pembangunan Waduk Logung Jawa Tengah". Kuliah umum diberikan oleh Team Leader Pengawas Pembangunan Waduk Logung yaitu Ir. Firman Achmadi, Pakar/Tenaga Ahli Bendungan. Kuliah memberikan gambara terkait dengan proses pembangunan bendungan dan kendala-kendala yang mungkin ada, kuliah selain dihadiri oleh mahasiswa, juga dihadiri oleh dosen.
